What Does It Mean When You Say Remy’s Treats Are Freeze Dried?
Freeze-drying is a process that retains 98% of the nutrients in the raw food. Unlike most dog & cat treat companies that use high-heat methods focused on lowering cost and increasing quantity, the low and slow process of freeze-drying leaves nearly all the naturally occurring nutrients intact by only removing the water content.
I Bought A New Bag Of One Of Your Meat Treats And It Looks Different Than It Did Last Time?
As we use only free-range and grass-fed human-grade proteins, there will be natural color and texture changes that will occur in each batch due to the animal’s sex, diet, age, and time of year it was harvested.
Can Puppies Have Remy’s Treats?
Yes, they can! Younger puppies we recommend starting with our meat treats, as our Superfood Snacks are crunchy and may be a bit much for a little pup. Please always supervise your puppy when eating any treats- they can get excited and inhale their food instead of chewing it.
How Many Treats Can I Give My Dog Per Day?
We know your pup will love their Remy’s treats so much that it’s tempting to give them most of the bag, but veterinarians recommend no more than 10% of your best friend’s diet be from treats.
How Long Will Treats Stay Fresh After Opening A Bag?
Our treats have a very long shelf life unopened but once opened we recommend using them up within a few weeks. Squeeze excess air out of the bag before sealing and keep it in a cool, dry place.

About Remy's Kitchen
When we adopted Remy from our local animal shelter, it wasn’t long before we noticed he was struggling with some common physical sensitivities that we felt might be improved with diet. After some trial and error, we determined that certain ingredients found in many dog foods were, in fact, aggravating his skin and digestive tract. When we set out to find foods that did not contain those ingredients, we came up empty handed. In addition, we discovered that most of the well known store-bought dog foods are packed full of unnecessary artificial preservatives, fillers and additives.
